(OFweek) – The 3-Year Plan of “Robots Replacing Human Labor” was officially issued in Dongguan yesterday. 1,000 to 1,500 “Robots Replacing Human Labor” application projects in the traditional industries and competitive industries are expected to be completed by 2016 and more than half of large-scale enterprises will implement technology upgrade to increase the labor productivity from RMB 80,000 per worker to over RMB 110,000 per worker. The policy stresses to “support R&D and manufacturing of local industrial robotics intelligent devices” and create commercial opportunities for the intelligent device industry, striving to achieve RMB 35 billion of production value by 2016, an annual average growth of about 20%.
In the 3-Year Plan, “Robots Replacing Human Labor” is expected to be applied to electronics, machinery, food & beverage, textile, clothing, furniture, footwear, chemical, logistics and many other highly repeated, intense and dangerous industries, particularly in the labor-intensive enterprises. This policy has adopted this year’s financial innovative mechanism by launching “appropriation-loan supportive plan” in the “Robots Replacing Human Labor” pilot projects. The enterprises are supported to implement the plan by introducing the mode of “government approval---bank loan---financial appropriation” and by levering financing institutions and social capitals with financial funds incentives.
